CHAIN O'LAKES, Fla. - The Mount Union baseball team (5-6) concluded its Florida road trip on Saturday, splitting two games: a 13-7 victory against Roger Williams and a 9-7 loss to Rutgers-Camden.Â

Chris Tsouras (Las Vegas, NV / Arbor) went three-for-five with three RBIs, including a big RBI triple in the second inning. Â

Mount Union was behind 6-5 in the third inning but made a strong comeback, scoring seven more runs while limiting Roger Williams to just one additional run. Right-handed pitcher
Chris Phillips (Elyria, Ohio / Elyria Catholic) earned the save,l pitching 4.0 innings with three strikeouts.Â

The second game against Rutgers-Camden was a tightly contested battle, with both teams exchanging leads throughout. Although the Purple Raiders put up a strong fight, they ultimately fell short, losing 9-7. A two-run home run by Tsouras late in the game energized the team, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory.Â
