Kenadee Wayt (Wheeling, W. Va. / Wheeling Central) was named the women's OAC Track Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon (3/24).
Wayt was back on the track for the Purple Raiders and dropped three top 10 times in Division III this weekend. She ran a 12.14 in the 100-Meters (T-10
th), 24.91 in the 200-Meters (T-10
th) and a 55.81 in the 400-Meters which is the top time in Division III currently.
Wayt won the 400-Meters against mostly Division I athletes and placed seventh in the 100-Meters and placed 11
th in the 200-Meters.
It is the sixth award in Wayt's career.
Mount Union will compete this weekend on Friday and Saturday at Carnegie Mellon or West Liberty.
