ALLIANCE, Ohio—Mount Union's men's track and field team picked up three victories while adding two top 15 NCAA marks hosting the
John Homon Open on Sunday afternoon in Kehres Stadium.
Tex Malloy,
Ryder Greenwood,
Brailon Wilcox and
Donovan Geiger teamed up winning the 4x100-Meter relay with a time of 41.25 which is ranked 14th currently in Division III.
Ryan McVicker finished fifth overall in the shot put with a toss of 53-feet 4.5-inches which is currently 12
th in Division III.
Matthew Tschantz won the 1,500-Meters with a time of 4:01.19.
Xavier Neal picked up the victory in the triple jump with a leap of 45-feet 5.75-inches.
Vinny Zeren finished second in the 100-Meter dash with a time of 10.79.
Brady Burrey finished second in the javelin throw with a toss of 183-feet 9-inches.
The crew of Kayden Tackett,
Mason Arth,
Jesse Kilgore and
Yahir Hill placed second overall in the 4x400-Meter relay with a time of 3:20.92.
Cale Borland finished third in the 800-Meters with a time of 1:56.24.
Simon Conrad finished third in the 3,000-Meter steeplechase with a time of 10:53.62.
Mount Union will split up this next week with the throws squad heading to Slippery Rock on Thursday with the rest of the team heading to Tiffin to compete at Heidelberg.
