Football: Mount Union Set to Host Five Home Games in 2025

| By:
ALLIANCE, Ohio – The 13-time National Champion Mount Union football team is set to host five home games at Kehres Stadium for the 2025 season.

The Purple Raiders' first home game will be their season opener against non-conference opponent Wheaton on September 6 at 1:30 p.m. Wheaton has been nationally ranked in the preseason polls.

Following an away game at another non-conference nationally ranked foe against Grove City on September 13 at 1 p.m., its Bye Week on September 20, and its Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) opener at Baldwin Wallace on September 27 at 1:30 p.m., Mount Union will play its second home game of the season against Otterbein on October 4 at 1:30 p.m. for its Homecoming game.

After two straight road games at Wilmington on October 11 at 1:30 p.m. and at Heidelberg on October 18 at 1:30 p.m., the Purple Raiders will host two straight weeks against Ohio Northern on October 25 at 1:30 p.m. and Capital at 1:30 p.m. on November 1 for their M Club Hall of Fame game with a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.

Mount Union will play at Marietta on November 8 at 1:30 p.m., followed by its regular season finale at home versus Muskingum on November 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Originally the Raiders were going to host Baldwin Wallace, however, the schedule was modified due to John Carroll leaving the conference.

New for 2025, all Mount Union football regular season games will be live-streamed exclusively on FloSports.

The Purple Raiders are coming off their eighth-straight OAC Championship, eighth-straight undefeated season, and 35th-straight trip to the NCAA Championship Playoffs—including their second trip to the NCAA Championship Stagg Bowl in three years. Mount Union is under the leadership of sixth-year head coach Geoff Dartt, who has led the Raiders to an OAC Championship and an undefeated regular season in all five seasons as head coach. Dartt won his 50th career game last season, becoming only the fifth coach in program history to achieve that milestone, while doing so in the second fewest games.
