WESTERVILLE, Ohio—Junior
Savannah Dennison (Mentor) took home the Otterbein Invite victory Saturday morning to help lead Mount Union to a second-place team finish.
Dennison dominated the course by winning the meet by 22 seconds covering the 6k course in a time of 21:57.31.
Sophomore
Ava Hartman (Lindhurst / Beaumont) and senior
Ashley Cooper (Mentor) finished seventh and 13th overall in times of 23:12.54 and 23:24.78.
Sophomore
Marah Bethel (Barnesville) and junior
Taylor Hennessey (Madison) rounded out the team scoring in 17th and 22nd overall in times of 23:45.47 and 23:51.76.
Sophomore
Taylor Forbes (Byesville / Meadowbrook) and junior
Zoe Seabeck (Painesville / Riverside) rounded out the team scoring in times of 24:04.86 and 24:16.86.
Mount Union finished with a team score of 60 while the Ohio Northern won the meet with 38 points.
Mount Union will next compete at the OWU Invite (October 3rd) or the Live in Lou Classic (October 4th).
