Women's Golf: Raiders Finish Third at Heidelberg Fall Invitational

FINDLAY, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in third place after the final round of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria C.C. on Saturday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 641 (317-324), which was one stroke ahead of fourth place Heidelberg. Calvin won the event with a team score of 629 (318-311).

Junior Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union finishing with a two-round score of 153 (76-77), which had her in a tie for second overall. Junior Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) also finished in the top 10, finishing in a tie for seventh with a score of 156 (79-77). Junior Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) and freshman Mya Downing (Dover) rounded out the Raiders team score, shooting 160 (79-81) and 172 (83-89) respectively.

The Raiders return to action on Saturday, October 4 for the first round of the John Carroll Donald Ross Invitational at Manakiki G.C. in Willoughby, Ohio.
