Women's Soccer: Raiders Play Denison to Scoreless Draw; Williams Records Third Straight Shutout

GRANVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team tied Denison 0-0 in an non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders (2-1-1) and the Big Red (2-2-2) played to a scoreless draw after neither team was able to find an advantage after 90 minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Leanne Williams (Poland / Poland Seminary) recorded her third consecutive shutout in the draw and has gone 311 minutes without giving up a goal, she had four saves on the day.

The Raiders return home next when they host Kenyon on Wednesday, September 17 at 7 p.m. in Kehres Stadium.
