ALLIANCE, Ohio – Eight members of the Mount Union football team have earned a spot on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic Football All-District® Team.
Senior Giovanni Kennedy (Avon, OH/St. Edward), senior Parker Logan (Columbus, OH/Columbus Academy), senior Ethan Pytlak (Naperville, IL/Naperville Central), junior Patrick Lavelle (Cleveland, OH/St. Ignatius), junior Mitch Coffee (Salem, OH/West Branch), sophomore Cael Liette (Tipp City, OH/Tippecanoe), sophomore Ricky Levak (Nordonia, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy), and sophomore Jerry Merchant (Columbus, OH/IMG Academy) all represented Mount Union.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions—NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA—for each gender.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced at a later date.
