BEREA, Ohio—The Mount Union men's volleyball team won both its games on Saturday evening against St. Norbert and Misericordia.
The Purple Raiders (4-3) swept St. Norbert (1-2), 25-20, 26-24, 25-19 in the first match of the day.
Luke Pemberton (Jackson) led the way with 17 kills while
Sam Morrison (St. Peters, MO / Fort Zumwalt South) finished with 10.
Justin Peters (Pittsburgh, PA / Canon-McMillan) finished with 37 assists while Peyton Koszleak (Eden, N.Y) finished with 15 digs.
Jacob Van Ooyen led the way for St. Norbert with 12 kills, Michael Whitney finished with 24 assists and Ryan Conway had 11 digs.
In the second match of the day Mount Union beat Misericordia (3-5) in four sets 25-20, 21-25, 25-11 and 25-19.
Pemberton led the way once again with 20 kills with Morrison finishing with 13 and
Michael Bowler (Broadview Heights / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) adding 12 kills.
Peters finished the match with 40 assists while Koszelak had 18 digs and Morrison had 13.
Mount Union returns home on Tuesday February 3
rd taking on Hiram at 7 pm.
