Women's Soccer: Raiders Tie Wilmington on the Road in OAC Play

WILMINGTON, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team tied Wilmington 1-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday evening.

The Quakers (5-7-4, 1-4-2 OAC) would strike first when Gracie King found the back of the net in the 16th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The Purple Raiders (7-6-1, 2-3-1 OAC) would answer with a goal of their own in the 47th minute when junior Rachel Chenos (Hilliard / Hilliard Bradley) scored off an assist from senior Ella Dinwiddie (Medina / Wadsworth) to tie the game at a goal apiece.

Neither team would be able to break the tie over the remainder of the game as they would go on to tie 1-1.

The Raiders are on the road again next when they travel to New Concord for an OAC matchup against Muskingum on Wednesday, October 28 at 7 p.m.
