ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union women's track and field team took home nine victories at the Raider Tune-up Friday night.
Mount Union took the top three spots in the long jump with
Kalie Campbell winning with a jump of 17-feet 2.25-inches,
Faith Blitz second with a jump of 16-feet 1.75-inches and
Madeline Burgess third with a leap of 16-feet 1-inch.
The Purple Raiders also took the top three spots in the 60-Meter hurdles with
Avonlea Jefferson winning with a 9.18, Anaika Sommers finishing second with a 9.36 and
Ashley Cockrell taking third with a 9.84.
In the 500-Meter dash the Raiders also took the top three with
Kristen Walters winning with a 1:21.59, Julia Armogida taking second with a 1:24.53 and
Alivia Danowski placing third with a 1:25.79.
Mount Union took the top three spots in the 1,000-Meters with
Gabby D'Amico winning with a 3:20.49,
Casey Wachhaus second with a 3:31.96 and
Brooke Reardon placing third with a 3:32.48.
Laney Duff brought home the victory in the high jump with a jump of 5-feet 2.25-inches while
Makenna Oszust finished third with a jump of 4-feet 10.25-inches.
Lily Polk won the 400-Meters with a 1:05.76 and took second in the triple jump with a jump of 33-feet .5-inches.

Ella McElwee finished first in the 4x200-Meter relay with a time of 1:46.31.
Kennedy Berger won the 60-Meter dash with a time of 8.22 and finished third in the 200-Meters with a 28.06.
Melanie Plecko won the 200-Meters with a time of 26.67.
Jessica Mason and
Wendy Veit took home second and third place in the pole vault with leaps of 11-feet 5-inches and 10-feet 7-inches.
Ava Hartman finished second in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 11:18.14.
Jada Ames finished third in the Mile with a time of 5:38.84.
Mount Union will head to Tiffin, Ohio next Friday and Saturday as they compete at the Ohio Athletic Conference track and field championship hosted by Heidelberg University.
