WOOSTER, Ohio – The Mount Union men's tennis team lost, 7-0, at Wooster in its spring opener on Sunday.
Sophomore
Nick Sziraky (Uniontown/Green) lost a close no. 2 singles match, 4-6, 3-6. Freshman
Gabe McDade-Povick (Dover / Dover) lost a hard-fought tiebreaker at no. 6 singles, 7-5, 4-6, 0-1 (6-10).
Wooster improved to 2-1 on the season, while the Raiders dropped to 3-3.
Mount Union is back on the court Friday, Feb. 13, with a home match vs. Franciscan at 6 p.m.
