HUNTINGDON, Pennsylvania—The Mount Union men's volleyball team dropped two matches Saturday afternoon.
In the first game of the day Mount Union (9-13) fell in straight sets, 25-19, 25-13 and 25-20 to No. 4 Juniata (20-2)
Justin Dickson (Chatsworth, CA / Chatsworth) led the way for the Purple Raiders in the first match with seven kills.
Drew Stein (Columbus / Olentangy Orange) finished with 14 assists for Mount Union while
Peyton Koszelak (Eden, N.Y.) finished with a game-high 11 digs.
Juniata was led by Chase Robbins with nine kills, Will Sierer with 33 assists and Logan Peterson with seven digs.
In the second game of the day Mount Union 21-25, 25-13, 25-21, 5-25 and 12-15 to Stevenson ().
Luke Pemberton (Jackosn) led Mount Union in kills this match with 14 and 11 digs.
Stein and
Justin Peters (Pittsburgh, PA / Canon-McMillan) had double digit assists with 18 and 15 respectively while Koszelak finished the match with 14 digs.
Stevenson was led by Jackson Bones with 12 kills, Connor Roth with 25 assists and Kyler Robinson with 11 digs.
Mount Union returns to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League play next Friday, March 20
th heading to Angola, IN to take on Trine at 7 PM.
