KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Mount Union junior forward
Elijah Farrington (Massillon / Massillon Washington) has been named a Division III Second Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Farrington played in 26 games, starting 25 this season for the Purple Raiders. He averaged 15.7 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game, while also recording 55 assists, 21 steals, 19 blocks and shooting 55-percent from the field this season. Farrington was also a First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, was named the OAC Player of the Year this season, was selected D3hoops.com First Team All-Region 7 and NABC First Team All-District 7.
Farrington becomes the seventh player in program history to earn All-American honors and the fourth since 2017.
