ANGOLA, Indiana—The Mount Union men's volleyball team fell in straight sets, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-17 to Trine in Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League play Friday night.
 
The Purple Raiders (9-14, 2-2 MCVL) were led by Carson Jeffers and Luke Pemberton with five kills each.
 
Justin Peters led the way with 10 assists and nine digs while Peyton Koszelak finished with a team-high 16 digs.
 
Trine (13-8, 4-1 MCVL) was led by John Mikrut with 13 kills and 17 digs and Xander Ikusz with 34 assists.
 
Mount Union heads to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on Calvin tomorrow at 1 PM.
