PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 14
th place following the final round at the UC Santa Cruz Invitational at Pacific Grove C.C. on Sunday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 680 (347-333) which was four strokes back of 13
th place UC Santa Cruz. Claremont Mudd-Scripps won the event with a team score of 603 (305-298).
Juniors
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, both finishing with a 36-hole score of 168. Freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) finished with a 36-hole score of 172 (92-80), with junior
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) rounding out the Raiders team score with a 174 (86-88).
The Raiders return home next when they host the Mount Union Spring Invitational on Friday, April 3 at Tannenhauf G.C. in Alliance.
