ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union women's tennis team lost, 6-1, to Earlham at home on Thursday.
Sophomore
Hannah Neely (Hartville / Lake) won No. 4 singles, winning set one in tiebreaking fashion, 7-6 (11-9), before a 6-0 set two shutout.
Seniors
Amelia Francisco (Canfield / Canfield) and
Emily Peel (Green / Green) won No. 1 doubles, 6-4; however, Earlham won the doubles point winning No. 2 and No. 3.
Mount drops to 5-8, while Earlham improves to 7-4.
The Raiders return quickly for their second-straight home match on Friday, April 10, against Thiel, with a 4 p.m. start.
