WESTERVILLE, Ohio—The Mount Union women's track and field team finished third overall and the top Division III team at the Otterbein Twilight meet Friday night.
Mount Union finished with 93.33 total team points, just 7.5 behind Division II Ashland University in second while Division II Cedarville won the meet with 146 points.

Melanie Plecko and
Mackenzie Davis won the 4x100-Meter relay with a time of 48.12.
Mackenzie Davis won the long jump with a leap of 18-feet 3.25-inches. Maddie Eldrigde and
Kalie Campbell finished second and fifth in the event as well with leaps of 17-feet 3.75-inches and 17-feet 1-inch.
Laney Duff and
Makenna Oszust finished second and fourth in the high jump both reaching 5-feet 1.75-inches.
Savannah Dennison and
Marah Bethel finished third and fourth in the 800-Meters with times of 2:16.15 and 2:17.10 which were the top Division III athletes in the race.
Callie Cyrus and
Cora Liskai finished third and fifth in the 400-Meters with time of 58.08 and 58.71 which was the top Division III runners in the race.
Elizabeth Mason and Aanika Sommers finished fourth and fifth in the 100-Meter hurdles with times of 15.10 and 15.29.
Katelyn Eberhardt grabbed fifth in the javelin throw with a toss of 102-feet 9-inches.
Mount Union will host the Mount Union Classic next week on Thursday before they head to the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship the following weekend in New Concord, Ohio at Muskingum University.
