ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in third place at their home invitational at Tannenhauf G.C. on Friday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 331, which was 14 strokes back of second place Malone. Ashland won the event with a team score of 314.
Freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) led the way for Mount Union, finishing with an 80 and securing a top 10 finish. Juniors
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and
Emma Packard (Ashland) both carded an 82 on the day, while junior
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) finished with an 87 to round out the Raiders team score.
The Raiders return to action on Monday, April 6 as they head to Sunbury, Ohio for the Otterbein Easter Leftovers Invitational at Northstar G.C.
