WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team had two golfers named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams.
Junior
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) was a First Team selection and was also named the co-OAC Golfer of the Year. Freshman
Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) was named Honorable Mention and head coach
Jenna Lisic was named the OAC Coach of the Year after leading the Purple Raiders to their first OAC Team Championship since 2011.
Myers finished in a tie for sixth at the OAC Championship after shooting a 219 (75-75-69) to help the Purple Raiders win the team championship. He had a season average of 73.1 for 18 holes and had four first place finishes, four top three finishes and 10 top 10 finishes on the season.
Mariani finished in a tie for ninth at last weeks OAC Championship, shooting 221 (76-76-69) to help win the team championship for Mount Union. He had a season average of 77 for 18 holes and had one win, two top three finishes and five top 10 finishes on the season.
