Women's Lacrosse: A Baker's Dozen; Raiders Have 13 Different Scorers in OAC Victory

NEW CONCORD, Ohio—Mount Union's women's lacrosse team defeated Muskingum 23-2 Wednesday night in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
 
The Purple Raiders (6-5, 2-0 OAC) had 13 different goal scorers. Olivia Bareschewski (Fairport, N.Y.) led the way with three goals.
 
Lizzie Dorley (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Seton LaSalle), Haylee Handrahan (Hilliard / Hilliard Darby), Reese Fuenfstueck (Fairport, N.Y.), Mackenzie Brown (Pine Bush, N.Y. / Pine Bush), Alexa Udovicic (Painesville / Lake Catholic), Aliza Very (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin), Chloe Banno (Painesville / Riverside) and Ella Nejad (Rocky River) each had two goals.
 
Emma Kielbasa (Amherst, N.Y. / Sweet Home), Mae Pawlikowski (Orchard Park, N.Y.), Anna Weinel (Dayton / Chaminade-Julienne), and Ruby Robatin (Brecksville / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) each scored a goal.
 
Abby Reagan (Columbus / St. Francis De Sales) finished the day with four saves while Kaitlyn Kuczinaki (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Chartiers Valley) finished with three saves.
 
Muskingum (6-7, 0-2 OAC) was led by Lindsay Davis with a goal while Izzy Oxenham made xx saves.
 
Mount Union jumped out to an 8-0 lead before Muskingum scored its only goal in the first half. Mount Union grabbed four more in the first quarter, taking a 12-1 lead into the second quarter.
 
Mount Union then shut out Muskingum in the second quarter while scoring six goals grabbing an 18-1 lead at the halftime break.
 
Mount Union outscored Muskingum 5-1 in the second half as Mount Union finished off the victory.
 
Mount Union will return home on Saturday with a noon start time against Capital as Mount Union will be honoring its six seniors before the game.
