ALLIANCE, Ohio—The No. 11 Mount Union baseball team dropped a 9-2 decision to No. 10 Baldwin Wallace on Friday in the winners bracket of the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament.
The Purple Raiders (31-9) will play Ohio Northern on Saturday, May 9, at 10 a.m. in the second elimination game.
Baldwin Wallace (30-9) advances to the OAC Championship game following the first game tomorrow.
On Friday, the Yellow Jackets amassed 17 hits in the contest. Senior
Luke Ickes (Green, OH / Green) started on the mound for the Raiders, surrendering six runs on 10 hits over four innings to pick up his first loss of the year, now at 8-1.
Baldwin Wallace established control early, scoring in each of the first five innings to build an 8-0 lead.
