High School: Went to Charles F. Brush H.S.... Played football four years and baseball three… Two-time all-conference… Offensive MVP… Three-time Honor Roll… Merit Roll… Sophomore Year: 1,650 passing yards and 25 passing TDs… Junior Year: 1,500 passing yards and 15 TDs.

Personal: Son of Priscilla and Cecil Shorts Jr…. Has five siblings… Education & Intervention Specialist major with a minor in coaching… Brother, Cecil Shorts III, was an All-American and NCAA Champion wide receiver for the Purple Raiders who was drafted and played in the NFL… Sister, Natasha, was the OAC Champion in the javelin at Otterbein… Siblings Candice (John Carroll – women’s basketball) and Nathan (Hiram – baseball) also played collegiately…. Favorite athletes are LeBron James, Dwayne Haskins, and Jameis Winston.
