Taurice Scott enters his first year as an assistant coach on the Mount Union football coaching staff, coaching the wide receivers.
Scott was an All-American quarterback for the Purple Raiders leading them to the 2015 National Championship, earning the Stagg Bowl MVP. He passed for over 40 touchdowns and 4,000 yards in his senior year. Scott was just as lethal as a receiver as he earned All-OAC Second Team as a junior with over 1,000 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.
Scott, an All-Ohio, all-district and all-conference selection at Alliance H.S., graduated from Mount Union in 2016 with a major in intervention specialist.
