Michael Wright enters his third season as the assistant men's soccer coach at Mount Union.
Wright has been a member of the coaching staff that has led the Raiders to the most wins in a single season in program history with 16 in 2023, their first OAC Regular Season Championship since 1998 and three straight OAC Tournament appearances, including a run to the OAC Tournament Championship game for the first time in program history. Wright has also coached Mount Union's third two-time All-American and second First Team All-American in Carter Hancock.
Prior to coming to Mount Union he served as the assistant men's soccer coach at his alma mater, Fredonia State, during the 2021 season. He appeared in 39 games for the Blue Devils as a player and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Athletic Coaching.
