Carnegie Mellon moved to 5-4-1 with the win and Mount Union falls to 3-8-1 overall after the loss.

Alice Mayfield started the scoring in the sixth minute then she assisted on a goal from Elsa Wu. 

Nicole Bayley made it 3-0 as she scored on a corner kick from Emily Overstreet.

Freshman Ashley Kuhn (North Olmsted/North Olmsted) then got the Purple Raiders on the board as she sent one in from 20 yards out to make it 3-1 at the half.

Mayfield got back into the action for Carnegie Mellon in the second half as she assisted on a goal by Lissie Arndt in the 54th minute to make it 4-1.

Mount Union stays home to host Ohio Northern in OAC match Saturday at 2 pm at Mount Union Stadium.
