All-Ohio Athletic Conference sophomore Krissy Hallet (Willoughby Hills/ Willoughby South) suffered a 6-4, 6-1 loss at No. 2 singles and freshman Courtney Adamski (New Philadelphia/ New Philadelphia) went down 7-5 and 6-2 at No. 5 singles were the closest chances the Purple Raiders had at any points.

Mount Union is home again next Friday against St. Vincent (PA) College.
