centerfielder Greg Ferrell (Uniontown/Green) drove in four runs on
a pair of hits including his second home run in as many days.
Every Mount Union starter had at least one hit and along with
Ferrell, junior left fielder Britt Williams (Canton/Massillon
Jackson) drove in three runs, senior designated hitter Connor Nell
(Powell/Olentangy) drove in two runs and junior Dan Henderson

first and Sabatino got out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom half
of the inning.

leadoff fly out, the Raiders
then had eight straight hits and after sending a total of 11
batters to the plate scored six runs to take a commanding 7-1
lead. Ferrell highlighted the inning as he drove in two runs
on a double.
The Raiders were not done as Matt Tracy (Pittsburgh/Central
Catholic) reached on a error to start the fourth inning then
Farrell blasted his second home run of the season to spark a
five-run inning that put the game away.

(Wilmington/Clinton-Massie) pitched three innings of scoreless
