in order in the eighth for the save.
Kyle VonDuyke (Medina/Medina) took the loss in relief for Mount
Union.
In the second game, Capital jumped out early with a pair of
unearned runs in the first inning but thanks to a two-run single by
Dan
Henderson (Canton/GlenOak) in the bottom of the frame Mount
Union tied the game at 2-2.
Capital then took a 4-2 lead with single runs in the second and
fifth innings, before the Raiders came back with a four-run fifth
scoring on a wild pitch, a Greg Ferrell (Uniontown/Green) single, a
bases loaded walk to VonDuyke and a sacrifice fly by Henderson to
take a 6-4 lead.
The Crusaders pushed another unearned run across in the sixth and
in the seventh an RBI ground out by Thuman tied the game and Brad
Staley drove in the go ahead run on a single up the middle.

allowed just one hit over the final three innings to pick up the
win while Mark Sabatino

the Raiders.
