defeated Franciscan University of Steubenville (1-6) by a score of
9-0 in Steubenville, OH.
The Purple Raiders were led by junior Krissy Hallett
(Willoughby Hills/ Willoughby South) with an impressive 6-0,6-0 win
at first singles and an 8-0 win at first doubles. Also leading the
Raiders was freshman Megan Czuchra
(Mantua/Crestwood) who was Halletts doubles partner at first
doubles and recorded a 6-1,6-1 win at second singles.
Mount Union concludes its fall season as it hosts La Roche (Pa)
on Friday, October 1 at 3:30 pm at the Whitehill Tennis Courts in
Alliance,OH.
