ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Mount Union women's tennis team suffered its first Ohio Athletic Conference loss, dropping a 9-0 decision to Baldwin-Wallace at the Peterson Fieldhouse.
Alicia Kasunic (Kirtland/Andrews Osborne Academy), Mount Union's No. 6 singles player, nearly stole a set in her match, but ultimately fell to Kate Marshall, 6-2, 7-6 (8-6).
Courtney Adamsky (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) won eight games at third singles, but lost to Rebecca Mittler, 6-3, 7-5.
The Purple Raiders will be in action next on Saturday when they visit Otterbein for a 1 p.m. match.
