UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Mount Union women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to John Carroll in Ohio Athletic Conference competition on Tuesday.
Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) led the way for the Purple Raiders, winning in both singles and doubles action.
Olivier won the No. 4 singles match over Athena Pappis, 6-1, 6-1. She teamed with Courtney Adamsky (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) for an 8-6 win over Pappis and Ashley Bauer at second singles.
Mount Union will be in action next on Friday when it hosts Capital for a 1 p.m. OAC match.
