Women's Tennis Drops Final Regular Season Match at Ohio Northern

ADA, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team lost 9-0 at Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Saturday in Ada.

Ohio Northern moved to 19-5 overall and locked up the OAC regular season title (9-0 OAC) and the No. 1 seed in next week's OAC Tourmament.

Mount Union finishes the regular season with a record of 8-9 overall, 5-4 in the OAC and will be the No. 5 seed in the OAC Tournament playing a quarterfinal match next Wednesday at 3:30 pm at No. 4 seed Otterbein in Westerville.

Freshman Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) fought hard with a 6-4, 6-4 loss to Christie Gales at No. 4 singles.
