WOOSTER, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team suffered a 5-4 non-conference loss to Wooster on Tuesday.

Krissy Hallett (Willoughby Hills/Willoughby Hills) helped earn two points for the Purple Raiders. In the No. 1 singles match, Hallett defeated Ashley Stockwell, 6-2, 6-2.

At first doubles, Hallett teamed with Megan Czuchra (Mantua/Crestwood) to claim an 8-6 victory over Stockwell and Kelsey Jenkins.

Courtney Adamsky (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) and Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) also earned individual wins for Mount Union (6-5). Adamsky outlasted Lauren Grimanis, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6, at No. 3 singles while Olivier defeated Suzanne Hamby, 6-2, 7-6, at fourth singles.

The Purple Raiders will return to action on Saturday when they visit Muskingum for a 1 p.m. Ohio Athletic Conference match.
