ALLIANCE, Ohio— Senior Krissy Hallett (Willoughby Hills/Willoughby South) earned her 100th career victory as the Mount Union women's tennis team beat Capital, 9-0, in Ohio Athletic Conference match at the Whitehill Tennis Courts in Alliance Tuesday afternoon.

Hallett was nearly flawless, dropping just a single point in her two wins. She defeated Elisabeth McLaughlin, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles and teamed with sophomore Megan Czuchra (Mantua/Crestwood) for an 8-1 No. 1 doubles win over McLaughlin and Alyssa Trier.

Freshman Hannah Arvidson (North Canton/GlenOak) also narrowly missed perfection for the match. Arvidson topped Michelle Guy, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 singles and teamed with freshman Mandy Wise (North Canton/Hoover) to defeat Guy and Collyn Weaver at No. 2 doubles, 8-1. 

Sophomore Courtney Adamsky (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) and freshman MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) also earned singles victories for the Purple Raiders. Adamsky and freshman Taylor Dowling (Canton/Massillon Jackson) paired for the final doubles win.

Mount Union (10-6, 3-3 OAC) will return to action on Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. match at Heidelberg.
