The Raiders (11-4-1) matched the school record for wins in a season with a 4-0 shutout of Muskingum this past Tuesday in Alliance.
On the season, sophomore Shannon Evans (Newbury/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) leads Mount Union and is ranked second in the OAC with 10 goals and 23 points, while junior keeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) leads the OAC in goals against average (0.67) and save percentage (.867).
Otterbein (9-5-1, 4-2-0) is on a two-game winning streak including a 2-1 double overtime victory Tuesday at Wilmington.
Sophomore Jillian Strimbu leads the Cardinals with eight goals, two assists and her 18 points is third-best in the OAC.
This is the 25th meeting between the two teams with Otterbein holding a 14-8-2 lead in the series. Mount Union last defeated Otterbein, 8-2, in 1998. In last year's meeting, the Cardinals defeated the Raiders 2-1 in Alliance.
Mount Union next plays Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 pm against Baldwin Wallace in an OAC matchup in Berea.
