The Mount Union women's soccer team hits the road as they travel to Wilmington (Ohio), in an OAC match-up against the Wilmington Quakers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The Purple Raiders improved to 9-2-1, 2-0-0, when they shutout Marietta 4-0 on Tuesday night in Marietta.
The Quakers (8-3-1, 2-0-0), are coming into Saturday's match-up on three game winning streak. Shutting out Heidelberg 1-0 at home and Muskingum 3-0 on the road.
Shannon Evans (Newbury/ Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) leads the Raiders in goal scoring and sits atop the OAC with eight goals on the year.
Wilmington leads the overall series against Mount Union 13-3-1. The Raiders defeated the Quakers 3-2 in last years meeting, as Gina Wall (Warren/ Howland) and Ashley Sams (Alliance/ St. Thomas Aquinas each had a goal in the victory.
Following Saturday's match-up, the Raiders remain on the road as they face-off against John Carroll, on Oct. 16 at 4:00 p.m. in Univesity Heights.
