WESTERVILLE, Ohio - - Mount Union's women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Otterbein in an Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis match Friday afternoon in Westerville, Ohio.
With the victory, Otterbein improves to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the OAC, while Mount Union falls to 7-4 and 1-1 in the conference.
Junior Megan Czuchra (Mantua/Crestwood) was able to record a three-set victory in the number three ingles match as she defeated Emma Krummel 6-4, 4-6 and 1-0.
Czuchra was paired with junior Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) in the number two doubles position as they lost a close game 9-8 to Krummel and Adrien Leatherwood.
Olivier won her singles match 6-0 6-1 over Kelsey Leachko in the no. 6 position.
Mount Union returns to action next Saturday when it travels to Berea, Ohio to face Baldwin Wallace at 1:00 p.m.
