ALLIANCE, Ohio - - Mount Union women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Saturday afternoon in the Petersen Field House.
With the victory, Ohio Northern improves to 19-4 overall and is in first place in the OAC with a 5-0 record, while Mount Union falls to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Sophomore MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) recorded the only point for the Purple Raiders as she defeated Michelle Tuma in the No. 1 singles match 4-6, 6-2, 10-2.
The Raiders return to action Wednesday when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to face Capital at 4:00 p.m.
