Mount Union's women's soccer team hosts Allegheny (Pa.) in their home opener debut Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Purple Raiders (3-1-1) are coming off their first loss as they were defeated by Penn State-Behrend 2-1 Tuesday night in Erie, Pa.

Junior Gina Wall (Warren/Howland) had the lone goal in the loss; with that goal it places her as the third leading scorer for the Raiders with three goals.

The Gators (2-3-1) are coming off a 2-1 overtime win over Grove City (Pa.) College.

Allegheny's is led by five individuals in scoring each having scored one goal this season.

The Gators have a 4-1-1 lead in the series overall, beating Mount Union 2-0 in their last meeting in 2006.

Following Saturday's match, the Raiders host Kenyon on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
