The Mount Union women's soccer team travels to Waynesburg, Pa. as they face-off against Waynesburg Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. in their final non-conference match-up.

The Purple Raiders (6-2-1) are coming off a 1-0 overtime loss to Grove City on Wednesday.

Mount Union is led in scoring by sophomore Shannon Evans (Newbury/ Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) who has five goals on the season.

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) are coming into Saturdays match defeating La Roche College 2-1. They are led in scoring by Natalie Abraham who has four goals.

In Mount Union's and Waynesburg's last meeting in 2012, the Raiders defeated the Yellow Jackets 1-0 in Alliance where Kolbie Haines (Hudson/Hudson) had the lone goal in the Raiders victory.

Following Saturday's match, the Raiders open Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play at home against Ohio Northern at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.
