ALLIANCE, Ohio-- Mount Union travels to Muskingum for an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7 pm in New Concord.
With two weeks left in the regular season, both teams are tied for sixth place in the OAC standings. The top six teams advance to the OAC Tournament at the end of the regular season.

SCOUTING MOUNT UNION
The Purple Raiders (9-5, 2-3 OAC) snapped a two-game skid with a 4-1 home win over Heidelberg last Saturday.
Mount Union is the OAC's second-highest scoring team with 32 goals as junior Kelsey Malenic (Poland/Poland Seminary) leads the team and is third in the conference with seven goals.
Three players lead the Raiders in assists as freshman Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/St. Vincent-St. Mary), sophomore Taylor Lanese (Parma/Valley Forge) and senior Nicole Moldovan (Cortland/Lakeview) each have three.
Senior goal keeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) leads the Raiders in the net and is third in the OAC posting 84 saves.
SCOUTING MUSKINGUM
The Muskies (9-4-1, 2-3 OAC) saw a two-game win streak end last Saturday as they were shutout by Otterbein, 2-0.
Senior Moriah Mathies leads the conference in points (30), goals (11) and assists (8) as the Muskies are third-best in the OAC with 29 goals as a team so far this season.
Sophomore Liz Mitchell has 14 starts in the net with 63 saves in 1126:50 minutes of play.
THE SERIES
It is the 27th meeting between the two teams with Mount Union leading the series 19-5-2 with Mount Union last defeating the Muskies 4-0 on October 22, 2013.
