SCOUTING MOUNT UNION
The Purple Raiders are 7-3 overall and 0-1 in the OAC after falling to defending league champions,Capital 3-0 last weekend.
Mount Union is led in scoring by junior Kelsey Malenic (Poland/Poland Seminary) with five goals and ranked fourth in the conference in scoring. Freshman Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/St. Vincent-St. Mary) leads the team with three assists on the season.
Senior goal keeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) leads the Raiders in the net posting 60 saves in 868:26 minutes of play which is fourth in the OAC in saves.
SCOUTING MARIETTA
The Pioneers are 1-9-1 overall and 1-0 in the OAC after defeating Wilmington 1-0 Saturday.
Layne Archer leads Marietta with seven points on the season (3G, 1A) while Rebecca Tenney has nine starts in the net with 62 saves in 851:10 minutes of play.
THE SERIES
It is the 25th meeting between the two teams with Mount Union leading the series 15-8-2 on a four-game winning streak.
