COLUMBUS, Ohio—Mount Union's women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 Ohio Athletic Conference loss at the reigning conference champions Capital Saturday in Columbus.

The Purple Raiders are now 7-3 overall (0-1 OAC) on the season as the Crusaders move to 8-4 (1-0 OAC) overall.

Amanda Kachaylo struck first for the Crusaders in the 23rd minute giving them the 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Capital scored twice early in the second half leading to take a commanding 3-0 lead as for the match, the Crusaders out-shot the Raiders 25-6.

Mount Union returns home to host Marietta in an OAC match Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 7 pm at Mount Union Stadium.
