HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Mount Union women's tennis team swept Adrian (Mich.)9-0 Tuesday in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Purple Raiders extend their season to a perfect 5-0 while the Bulldogs fall to 6-2 on the season.

Mount Union swept all six singles sets, with MacKenize Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) leading the way defeating Arielle Williams 6-1, 6-2 in the number one spot. Helping to secure the victory for the Raiders was Megan Czuchra (Mantua/Crestwood) defeated Morgan Spencer 6-1, 6-3 in the number three spot.

The Raiders swept all three doubles matches, Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) and Czuchra defeated Spencer and Justine Hanson 8-2 in the two spot. While, Taylor Dowling and Megan Reichert (Ashtabula/Lakeside) defeated Victoria Watson and Haley Freilino 8-0 in the three spot.

Mount Union returns to the court on Thursday against Roanoke (Va.) at 8:30 a.m. in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
