NEW CONCORD, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team beat Muskingum 9-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis match Wednesday in New Concord.
The Purple Raiders are now 11-1 overall and at 5-1 stay a game behind first place Otterbein in the conference standings.
Mount Union has now won five consecutive matches -- the last four in 9-0 shutouts.
Mandy Wise (North Canton/Hoover) managed a straight set 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles and teamed with Taylor Dowling (Canton/Massillon Jackson) for an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
Mount Union finishes the regular season at home with matches Friday at 1 pm against Baldwin Wallace and next Tuesday at 3:30 pm against Otterbein.
