MASON, Ohio -- No. 3 seed Mount Union lost 5-1 to No. 2 seed Ohio Northern in the semifinals of the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders, which are in the semifinals for the ninth time over the last 10 seasons, finish the year with a record of 13-3.

Ohio Northern, two time defending conference champions, improve to 17-4 and advance to Saturday's championship match against top-seeded Otterbein.

The Polar Bears won two of the three doubles matches with the Raiders point coming in an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles from Megan Reichert (Ashtabula/Lakeside) and MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern).

Ohio Northern finished the match scoring wins at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
