SCOUTING MOUNT UNION

The Purple Raiders are 4-2 on the season after defeating Bluffton 5-1 Wednesday. 

Mount Union is led by freshman Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/St.Vincent-St.Mary) with six points (2G, 2A) on the season as senior goal keeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) leads the Raiders in the net posting 37 saves in 517:13 minutes of play.

SCOUTING WAYNESBURG

Waynesburg is 3-1-2 overall after tying Marietta 1-1 on Wednesday in double overtime.

Nikki Davis leads the Yellow Jackets with four goals on the season while Ciara Scott has started all five games in the net and posted 18 saves.

THE SERIES

This is just the third ever meeting between the two teams with Mount Union leading the series 2-0. Mount Union last defeated Waynesburg 2-0 on September 28, 2013 in Waynesburg, Pa.
