ALLIANCE, Ohio— Mount Union's women's tennis team defeats Wooster 6-3 in a non-conference match Friday at the Whitehill Tennis Courts in Alliance.
The Purple Raiders advance to 1-1 while Wooster moves to 0-1 on the season.
The Raiders swept all three doubles matches, MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) and Mandy Wise (North Canton/Hoover) won 8-5 in the one spot while Taylor Dowling (Canton/Massillon Jackson) and Alix Stein (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) defeated Wooster 8-2 in the two spot.
Mount Union travels to Westminster for a non-conference match Friday, Oct. 3 at 3:30 pm in New Wilmington, Pa.
