SCOUTING MOUNT UNION
The Purple Raiders are 7-2 on the season and ranked No. 7 in the Great Lakes Region after defeating Geneva (Pa.) 3-0 last weekend.
Mount Union is led in scoring by junior Kelsey Malenic (Poland/Poland Seminary) with five goals and ranked fourth in the conference in scoring. Freshman Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/St. Vincent-St. Mary) leads the team with three assists on the season and is ranked fifth in the conference.
Senior goal keeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) leads the Raiders in the net posting 51 saves in 782:44 minutes of play which is fourth in the OAC in saves.
SCOUTING CAPITAL
The Crusaders are 7-3 overall after defeating Ohio Wesleyan 2-1 in double overtime.
Becca Cartmill leads Capital with 14 points on the season (5G, 4A) while Kim Leitch has six starts in the net with 34 saves in 542:51 minutes of play.
THE SERIES
It is the 25th meeting between the two teams with Capital leading the series 12-8-3.
